Hello and welcome to the first installment of our brand new blog.

Here we will aim to keep you updated on all of the latest Dandy's news and info as well as hopefully providing you with some handy hints and tips for getting your garden into tip top shape.

Over the coming days you can expect to see blog entries from more of the Dandy's team.

Each of them will be providing you with general and specialist info on some of the different products we supply.

Amongst other things, you should keep an eye out for our "how to" guides; these will include "how to lay new turf", "how to build a raised border" and "how to gravel a new drive" as well as many more.

We will also try to keep you updated with blog items such as what you should be doing in your garden at this time of year -- something that would traditionally be set in stone but due to the recent crazy British weather being so unpredictable, you may be finding that it is difficult to guage exactly what time of year to put down new turf or to bed in new plants.

Another area we will be increasingly focused on is the issue of "going green"; look out for our resident 'organic blogger' providing you with hints and tips on getting yourself involved in the organic movement sweeping across the nation.
